Students will be inspired as they learn about the “greats” in eleven major sports–from their athletic beginnings to their greatest professional and personal challenges and accomplishments. There are eleven physical education learning packets in this program, exploring 39 champion athletes. Each packet contains 7-10 pages of readable content followed by questions and puzzles for students to demonstrate what they have learned. Sports Champions packets provide students with real heroes to emulate in a difficult world. Teacher answer key provided. Each packet is approximately a 40 minute activity.
